Hello, this is Eriko Okamoto from NATUVIEW.
NATUVIEW opened in July 2021, and thanks to your support, we are celebrating our 4th anniversary this year. On this milestone occasion, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every customer who has chosen our products and shared our vision. Thank you very much.
Today, I would like to share a little bit about the thoughts and feelings that go into making NATUVIEW confections. This is something I don't usually get to talk about, so I hope you will join me.
We are truly delighted when our customers say that our products are delicious, but behind that praise lies the reasons why we created these products and why we chose these ingredients. This time, we would like to share with you some of the thoughts behind those reasons.
This store was started because of my own illness, with the idea that “the importance of health is often realized only after it is lost, so I want people to reevaluate it in their daily lives before that happens.” The name “natural view” is meant to convey the idea of “reevaluating nature.”NATUVIEW”The name reflects our hope that it will inspire people to take another careful look at the everyday things and meals that we take for granted.
・Making keto-friendly desserts with blood sugar in mind
NATUVIEW's sweets are developed with the primary goal of preventing blood sugar spikes. Sudden spikes or drops in blood sugar levels are said to damage blood vessels and place a significant burden on the body. That's why we've focused on recipes with reduced carbohydrates. We use gluten-free ingredients instead of wheat flour and adjust sweetness with naturally derived sweeteners that are less likely to raise blood sugar levels. We aim to create sweets that are gentle on the body and can be enjoyed daily without guilt. “Enjoy delicious taste while balancing blood sugar levels and promoting overall well-being.”
・ Team development by experts and craftsmen
Our products are developed by a team of advisors with qualifications in ketogenic, paleo, and orthomolecular nutrition, as well as registered dietitians. Additionally, we have dedicated pastry chefs and chocolatiers who work together to create each and every one of our sweets, ensuring that they are both nutritious and delicious.
・Commitment to materials and manufacturing methods
At NATUVIEW, we strive to use as few additives as possible.
We say “as few as possible” because, for example, luo han guo (monk fruit) is a fruit-derived sweetener that is classified as an additive, and cheese contains emulsifiers. Even so, we maintain our stance of never using anything that is not necessary. For example, when it comes to theused in baking molds, while using a commercially available additive-based spray would be easier and faster, at NATUVIEW we hand-apply butter as a substitutechocolate from scratch in-house. Commercially available baking chocolate often contains emulsifiers, flavorings, and vegetable oils, and many have low cocoa content to begin with.
We are、We want to place greater value on the nutritional value of cacao. Cacao is rich in polyphenols with antioxidant properties, minerals such as magnesium and iron, and dietary fiber, and is gaining attention as a food that supports health. To make the most of its nutritional value, we have newly expanded our facilities dedicated to bean-to-bar chocolate made from cacao beans.We want to deliver the true nutritional value of cacao to your heart. With this in mind, we make our confections from the raw ingredients stage. We want to continue to be a source of “delicious luxury that you can enjoy with peace of mind” for everyone who values their health.
